Once again, the Honolulu Gay & Lesbian Cultural Foundation has done an amazing job of producing and outstanding Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival. This year was the 28th year that the Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival was produced at the Honolulu Museum of Art. Gay Island Guide was a proud sponsor and honored to be a part of such an important and unique event.
This years Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival was also a started event. Opening night on August 10th those in attendance got to meet RuPaul Drag Race Judge Todrick Hall and the week long of quality films and events ended with When We Rise and Screenwriter Dustin Lance Black who also brought his newly married husband Tom Daley - a Bronze Medalist Olympic Diver from the United Kingdom.
The Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival was capped off with a weekend of parties including the Annual Red Carpet event where attendees enjoyed an evening of food sponsored by 12 of Hawaii's top restaurants, Drinks, entertainment and networking! Then on Sunday, August 20th the First Annual Paradise Pool Party at Hilton Waikiki Beach was also met with near sold out success with raffles, dancing and some of the hottest models.
